Prathamesh Mukund Khatavkar was a part-time industry-based PhD student at UCD between September 2017 and March 2020. He works full-time as an analog IC desiger at Xilinx in Dublin. He received his MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai, India in 2016. He received his BSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra, India in 2012.
Jakub Szyduczynski is a visiting PhD student at UCD (since September 2017) and he is a research assistant at Department of Electronics, AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland (since December 2012). He received the B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Electronics and Telecommunication from the AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland, in 2010 and 2012, respectively.
His research interests are:
• Analog and Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit design,
• Time-mode data conversion and signal processing,
• Data converters.
Hanie Ghaedrahmati was a visiting PhD researcher at UCD since January 2016 to January 2017. She is currently pursuing her PhD with Professor Jiajun Zhou at Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China since September 2014. She received her MSc in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2013, and her BSc in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Iran in 2011.
Her research interests are:
• ADCs Design,
• High Precision, High Speed and Low Power Comparator Design.
Dr. Mahsa Keshavarz Hedayati was a visiting PhD candidate researcher at UCD since September 2015 to December 2018. She received her PhD in Electrical Engineering (Field and Wave Telecommunication Engineering) at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT, Former Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran in 2019. She received her MSc and BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, respectively in 2011 and 2008.
Her research interests are:
• Microwave and millimeter-wave devices modeling and simulation,
• RF, Microwave and MMIC circuits,
• Numerical Methods in Electromagnetic,
• Active and passive device modeling,
• Active integrated antenna,
• Optical communication.
Dr. Imran Bashir a postdoc researcher at UCD since August 2015. He received the BSEE degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001 and the MSEE and PhD degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008 and 2014.
His research interests are:
• RF/Mixed Signal IC Design,
• Polar Transmitters, Digital PLL,
• Sigma Delta ADC, RF Oscillators,
• Built-In Self Testing, Wireless SoCs.
Zhebin Hu was a visiting PhD scholar and a researcher at TU Delft since Fall 2013. He is currently a researcher in Smart Hybrid Radio group, Institute of Electromagnetics at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu.
Mr. Hu was the recipient of the Third-Place Award of the Student High Efficiency Power Amplifier Design Competition of the 2013 IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S) International Microwave Symposium (IMS).
His research interests are:
• High efficient RF PA design,
• Wideband and linear RF PA design,
• Digital predistortion( DPD) techniques for PAs.
